Tarlac Information Technology Park gets go signal from Arroyo

TARLAC -- The Tarlac Provincial Information Technology Park (TPITP) II in Barangay of Tibag, Tarlac City has been created and designated as Information Technology (IT) Park under Presidential Proclamation 919.
"Tarlac is making great progress with these technological advances," Tarlac Governor Jose V. Yap said. "The approval of the project means more jobs for Tarlaquenos and greater income for the Provincial Government. This also means better delivery of basic services and more projects," he said.
Upon the recommendation of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza), President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo designated 43,411 square meters of land for the project.
The IT Park is located just a couple of kilometers away from the city's businesses such as malls, police stations, schools and churches.
With the presidential proclamation, the TPITP II will go into full gear to meet investor's requirements.
