"PALARO" - The Official Mascot of the 2010 Palarong Pambansa - as first time host, we mark this event with a mascot we named "PALARO", -- a multi-faceted yet roundly unified ball to symbolize the energy, the discipline and the verve that go with every jump, every kick and every bounce made during the games. Much like Tarlac, dubbed as melting pot of Central Luzon where diverse cultures meet and mix, mascot "palaro" also represents convergence and oneness.

Successful ang ginanap na Palarong Pambansa 2010 sa probinsiya ng Tarlac. Patunay na handa ang Tarlac na maging host o venue ng mga national events na gaya ng Palaro. Kahit kasagsagan ng init ng panahon, di ito alintana ng mga manlalaro na buhat pa sa iba't ibang rehiyon ng bansa, maipamalas lang ang kani-kanilang galing at husay sa napiling laro. Marami ang record na tumaob ayon sa balita. At dito sa Jeddah, napanood sa GMA 24 Oras ang isang event sa larong pole vault na ginanap sa San Jose track and field oval. Nakita na fully furnished ang venue at angkop lang na pagdausan ng gayong kalaking national event. Mabuhay ang Tarlac!
