Hi everyone!

Good to know that some computer wiz like Mr. Louie Policarpio has created a website for GEI alumni. Thanks to advanced technology that we are able to link to one another thru virtual world that is internet.

Ako pa nga pala si Ricardo Manucot, Ric alternick ko sa school pero Ding to my family and relatives. I first came to know about my fellow GEI alumni sa namedatabase. Thereafter, may basta may new member coming from the same school, nagpo-pop-up sa pc ko here at the office. Im from Batch 92, and I hailed from Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija during those years (wala na kami dun ngayon). Here's the list of my batchmates to my recollection:

Sorry ha but medyo short-spanned ang memory ko but I will try to post some other time pag may naalala ko.

Whatever happened to our dear mentors ? Are they still connected to GEI or have they long left our dear school to go elsewhere?

Kamusta na kaya ang great and beatiful dames from Zaragoza like Ms. Leonora Vispo (1st year adviser ko), Ms. Encarnacion Belmonte? Ms. Loyola Libra?

How about my fave English teacher Ms. Ligaya "Gay" Mallari? I heard some not so good news about her personal life, nevertheless, she will always be the one of the best persons who made a meaningful dent in my life.

I'm read in our threads that Ms. Marina Gamurot is now the principal, I think she deserves the position, knowing na magaling siya at masipag.

Whatever happened to Mr. Galicano Castañeda, my very generous benefactor in my scholarship? I hope he is still alive and healthy. Si Ms. Doroles I-forgot-her surname, si "Baloleng", buhay pa rin ba yun? Who could ever forget this formidable Chemistry teacher and her penchant for mahjong! Si Mr. Morales, buhay pa rin kaya siya, I heard when we were still in Zaragoza that he once run for public office in La Paz but lost. Sayang, he would have certainly made a good public servant.

Lastly, kamusta na ang GEI? Whatever happened to this great institution. Bago na ba ang mga building at facilities? I also heard na may public school na binuksan sa La Paz which posed a harsh competition to GEI. Sa hirap ng buhay ngayon, I think marami ang lumilipat sa public school anywhere else in the Philippines.

That's quite a lot and I hope I could get some news and updates from all of you! Bye the way, I remember Cristina Timbang topping the CPA Board Exam way back in lates 90s. I'm sure there are a host of GEI alumni who have also made it big in their respective professions.

Hi all, my name is Marites V. Dizon, batch 91, section gold, from Amucao. Glad to see my name mentioned here, Embyerna's post. Wonder who's he/she...there's 3 more that he/she didn't mentioned, Odilio Cabigas, Christine and Emmy Marano (baka isa ka dito, embyerna?).

here's some updates (not much as I seldom go home):
Lynlee (Mrs Gacusan) - happily married with Ronald, with two kids (ninang nga ako sa 2nd one!).
Gracia - newly married daw I heard
Nida - currently working sa Singapore
Aurora (Mrs Aparece) - married, living in Laguna
Juliet (Mrs Bulala) - married to Edison, gei alumni din
Monina - I heard she's in clothing business na daw
Floraine - she's in US if I am not mistaken
Nars - she visited me one time, still single

Mr Salvador - teacher and one of the guys who sponsored my scholarship back then...I saw him March 2005 at Amucao High (he teaches there). He looks great! Sir, pakisabi po sa mga classmate ninyo, Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Ms Mallari - saw her one time sa McDo, she looks the same, got her pic actually. I can send you a copy if you wish!

Mam Marina Gamurot / Sir Monsod- I spoke to them last year as I had a chance to dropped and picked up my nephews(prep and grade 1). They quite a handful there actually, daig pa ako, weekly yata nasa-summon ang Lola nila to see the principal.

Mam Monsod - nakasakay ko siya one time but too dumb to say hello thinking she won't remember me

GEI - Lots of changes, they expanded...teaches nursery and primary classes now. Some new classrooms at the back. May canteen na sa loob and the front building looks much better and improved na rin kasi may AC na at computerized na rin sila.

Hey, before I become nostalgic, let me say that I would love to hear from my classmates/ friends from GEI. kahit email lang, I'll be happy na.

And to the webmaster, Congrats! a job well done!

Hi I'm Cherry Marcos Bacani (Batch '92) from San Roque at dating DBLC majorette. Natutuwa ako dahil after long years I will have a chance na mahanap ulit ang mga old friends ko noong high school. Ilang taon narin kasi akong hindi umuuwi kaya sad to say, wala rin akong chance na makita ulit sila. But for sure hinding hindi ko malilimutan ang mga masasaya at nakakalokang moments with my friends;
Maria Teresa Cabrera - one of my best friends! para kong sister yan, kasama sa kalokohan lalo na pag may date at walang sawang make up artist ko during our parade o program sa DBLC.
Lilibeth Bato - I was there when she got married and the funny thing ako pa ang nakasapo ng bulaklak and after a year ako naman ang kinasal.

Alma Hernandez - ang simple and very kind ng Four Orange.
